
Dr Nuur Alifah Roslan
Background
Dr. Nuur Alifah Roslan is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universiti Putra Malaysia. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, a Master’s Degree in Security in Computing, and a PhD in Computer Security specializing in Steganography from UPM. Prior to joining academia, she gained industry experience as a website specialist in a digital marketing agency and as a programmer and research assistant at MIMOS Berhad. She actively engages in research, teaching, and industry collaborations. She has been undertaking postdoctoral research at University College London for 1.5years, focusing on Human-Centric Security, particularly the study of online harassment reporting mechanisms and user experiences across digital platforms. This appointment has broadened her international research experience.
Research Interests
Steganography, Information Hiding, Multimedia Security, Human-Centric Security, and the design of secure technologies that place users’ needs and experiences at the center of security solutions.
