Publishing Policies
Editorial standards for NeuroCampur AI Publishing Lab and NeuroCampur Review 2026.
NeuroCampur Review 2026 is an independent Malaysian-led publication responding to Malaysia's national AI ambitions. The edition is organised around the seven deliverables introduced by AI Malaysia Berhad (National AI Office), while preserving full editorial independence.
NeuroCampur Review is independent and is not an official publication of the Malaysian government. Alignment with Malaysia's national AI ambitions does not imply government endorsement.

Aims and scope
NeuroCampur Review publishes independent Malaysian-led perspectives on artificial intelligence and its relationship to technology strategy, adoption, regulation, ethics, government, national trends, datasets, infrastructure and sectoral transformation.
Submission fit
Submissions should align with at least one Review strand:
- AI Technology Action Plan 2026–2030
- AI Adoption Regulatory Framework
- Acceleration of AI Technology Adaptation
- AI Code of Ethics
- AI Impact Study for Government
- National AI Trend Report
- Datasets related to AI technology
Peer review process
Submissions may undergo editorial screening, internal review and/or external review depending on article type, topic, quality and suitability. Reviewers are asked to assess clarity, evidence quality, originality, AI relevance, Malaysian relevance, strand fit, public value and responsible AI awareness.
Editorial independence
Editorial decisions are made on quality, relevance, originality, clarity, evidence, public value and fit with NeuroCampur Review. Sponsors, partners, affiliates or external institutions must not influence editorial decisions.
AI use declaration
Authors must declare meaningful use of AI tools in drafting, editing, analysis, image generation, translation or idea development. Authors remain responsible for accuracy, originality, references and final submitted content.
Authorship and contributorship
All listed authors must have made a meaningful contribution and must approve the final submission. Contributors who assisted but do not meet authorship criteria should be acknowledged where appropriate.
Conflicts of interest
Authors and reviewers must declare financial, professional, academic or personal relationships that could reasonably affect judgement.
Research ethics and consent
Work involving human participants, identifiable individuals, sensitive data, interviews or unpublished institutional information should include appropriate consent, permissions and ethics considerations where relevant.
Corrections and retractions
NeuroCampur may correct, update, withdraw or retract published material if significant errors, ethical concerns, plagiarism, misrepresentation or other serious issues are identified.
Copyright and licence
Authors retain responsibility for ensuring they have the right to submit all text, images, data and third-party material. Accepted work should clearly state the publication licence used.
Complaints and appeals
Authors, reviewers or readers may raise concerns about editorial decisions, factual accuracy, ethical issues or publication conduct through NeuroCampur's contact route.
